Minato-e: Notebook on Cities and Cultures　Cultural Narrative of a City: Documentary Video Screening

"Cultural narrative of a City" is a project to narrate and connect the culture of Minato-ku from various perspectives. The media that carries narratives may vary; text, photos, and video. In 2018, the "Cultural narrative of a City" project worked with documentary filmmakers and attempted to capture cultural narratives of the city with video.

This is the first screening of the 'video notebooks' of the filmmakers, who jumped into the historic temple, the contemporary art gallery, and the confectionery archives. After the screening, we will have post-talks with directors, together with Kubo Hitoshi, who researches art theory, archive theory, and film at Keio University Art Center.

藤川 史人

武蔵野美術大学映像学科卒。映像作家。気に入った土地に一定期間暮らしそこで生活する人々と映画制作を行う。監督作に、多良間島の伝統的な結婚式を取り上げた「Caminando Muchas Lunas」（’10）、広島県三次市で地域住民と交流しながら完成させた「いさなとり」（’15）、アンデスで暮らす人々の記録「Supa Layme」（’19）、ほか過日来（’12）、彼の地（’15）など。

阿部 理沙

映画監督。日本大学芸術学部映画学科監督コースを卒業後、映画・テレビ・CMなど幅広い映像演出を手掛けている。近年の監督作品として、短篇映画「山村てれび氏」（’15） は、ぴあフィルムフェスティバル入選、Fresh Wave 国際短編映画祭（香港）などで上映。2017年秋よりTOKYO MXにて放送されたドラマ「Club SLAZY Extra invitation ～Malachite～」の監督をつとめた。http://www.abefilm.info

大川 景子

東京芸術大学大学院映像研究科 編集領域卒。諏訪敦彦監督「ユキとニナ」（’09）に編集助手として携わる。その後、筒井武文監督「自由なファンシィ」（’14）、中島良監督「兄友」（’18）、杉田協士監督「ひかりの歌」（’19）等に編集スタッフとして参加。監督作にインドネシアから来た技能実習生の日常を描いた「高浪アパート」（’06）、米国生まれの日本文学作家 リービ英雄を描いた「異境の中の故郷」（’13）。

新部 貴弘

鎌倉材木座海岸にて漁業を営む二人の女性の二年半を描いた「桃と小桃とこもも丸」（'12）を大学在学時に監督。第16回 ゆふいん文化記録映画祭 松川賞 ほか受賞多数。メイキングスタッフとして参加した作品に西川美和監督「永い言い訳」（’16） などがある。2017年から女子美術大学非常勤講師を勤める。

久保 仁志

慶應義塾大学アート・センター所員、同大学非常勤講師。アーキヴィストとして2002年より現在に至るまで様々な資料体の構築に携わる一方、美術理論・アーカイヴ理論・映画の研究を行い、映画作品「Cargo 1　なにかいってくれ いまさがす|半影のモンタージュ」（’10）等を制作。近著に「〈半影〉のモンタージュ：アーカイヴの一つのモチーフについて」等がある。
