Bishop Yamada Butoh Lecture and Workshop
Bishop Yamada first performed Butoh in Hijikata Tatsumi's Rebellion of the Body, and went on to perform actively with Dairakudakan, of which he was a founding member. Following which, he established Hoppo Butoh-ha, brought butoh to Tohoku, creating Butoh era there.
This event marks Bishop Yamada's return to butoh after a long absence. Please join the performance, lecture, and workshop.
